Rajasthan Royals get emotional and reply to IPL's Legendary Team

7 years ago, on this day in the IPL 2014, Mumbai Indians made their place in the playoffs by winning a historic match against Rajasthan Royals. 

Recalling that match, Mumbai Indians posted a stunning post on social media, which features a photo of their batsman Aditya Tare's celebration. 

Aditya Tare hit Mumbai on the last ball to give Mumbai this memorable victory and became the hero of the match.

The Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals is known for its fun posts, memes and comments. Recently, he shared a poster of a film by his team co-owner Shahrukh Khan on a question posted by Kolkata Knight Riders and answered the question in his own style.

This time again he commented on the historic match won against him and told that yes we know what happened in that match. 

While sharing the post, Mumbai Indians wrote that one should never give up, 7 years ago the ball went across the boundary and the stars ran towards the Northstand of Wankhede Stadium and the entire stadium was sunk in celebration.

What happened to this memorable match between Mumbai and Rajasthan?

Mumbai had their eyes on this match to go to the playoffs, the Royals batting first scored 189 runs in 20 overs. This goal was to be achieved in 14.3 overs for Mumbai to make it to the playoffs.

Corey Anderson and Ambati Rayudu brought Mumbai's score to 189 runs in 14.3 overs in a stormy innings game. Mumbai equalized the match in 14.3 overs to make it to the playoffs. 

According to the rule, the boundary was required on the next ball. After Rayudu was run out, Aditya Tare came in and hit a six on that ball and qualified for the Mumbai playoffs.
